Media retention policy

All media files sent to chats are stored encrypted on Verum Messenger servers for no more than 30 days.

Media files older than 30 days are automatically deleted from the server and become unavailable for re-download.

NB: Media older than 30 days can be accessed via chat thanks to in-app caching. At this point, they only exist on your phone and will not be able to be downloaded after logging back into your account. Verum Messenger does not guarantee the availability of files older than 30 days.
