About E-SIM

Verum Messenger offers a built-in E-SIM service that allows you to purchase and install mobile data packages directly from the app. With E-SIM, you can get internet access while traveling abroad without needing a physical SIM card.

How it works

E-SIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a mobile data plan on your device without a physical SIM card. Once you purchase and install an E-SIM package through Verum Messenger, you can use mobile internet in the selected region.

View your E-SIM status

To check your current E-SIM package:

  1. Open the Internet tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. You will see your current traffic usage, remaining data, and expiration date displayed on the screen.

A circular progress indicator shows how much data you have remaining.

Buy an E-SIM package

To purchase a data package:

  1. Open the Internet tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. Tap “Buy E-SIM Package”.
  3. Browse available packages — each card shows the data amount, validity period, and price.
  4. Select the package you want.
  5. Choose a payment method:
    • VerumPay
    • Bank Card
    • Apple Pay
    • Promo Code
  6. Complete the payment.

Install an E-SIM

After purchasing a package, you need to install the E-SIM on your device:

  1. Open the Internet tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. Tap “Install E-SIM”.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

E-SIM installation requires iOS 17.4 or later. Make sure your device supports E-SIM before purchasing.

Package details

Each E-SIM package includes:

  • Data amount — the total amount of mobile data available (in GB or MB).
  • Validity period — how long the package is active (in days or unlimited).
  • Price — the cost of the package in USD, including the price per gigabyte.

After the validity period expires or the data is used up, the package becomes inactive and you will need to purchase a new one.
