About Verum Mail

Verum Mail is a built-in temporary email service in Verum Messenger. It allows you to generate a disposable email address directly in the app. This is useful when you need a quick email address for sign-ups, confirmations, or any situation where you don’t want to use your personal email.

How it works

Verum Mail provides you with a randomly generated email address. All incoming emails to this address are delivered to your inbox within the app. Emails are automatically deleted after 1 hour, so this service is designed for temporary use.

Emails are automatically deleted 1 hour after arrival, regardless of whether you have read them.

Generate an email address

To create a temporary email address:

  1. Open the Mail tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. Tap “Generate New Address”.
  3. Your new email address will appear on the screen.

You can copy the email address by tapping on it.

View your inbox

After generating an email address, you can check incoming emails:

  1. Open the Mail tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. Tap “Go to Inbox”.
  3. Your received emails will be displayed in the list.

Tap on any email to view its full content, including attachments.

Regenerate an email address

If you need a new email address:

  1. Open the Mail tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. Tap the regenerate icon (circular arrows) in the upper right corner.
  3. Confirm the action.

After regenerating, the old email address will no longer work and all previous emails will be deleted.

Forget an email address

If you no longer need the email address:

  1. Open the Mail tab in Verum Messenger.
  2. Tap “Forget this address”.
  3. Confirm the action.

After this, the email address will be permanently removed and all associated emails will be deleted.
