About sharing

Verum Messenger supports the iOS Share Extension, which allows you to share content from other apps directly to your Verum chats and groups. You can share photos, videos, files, text, and links without needing to open Verum Messenger first.

How to share content

To share content from another app to Verum Messenger:

  1. Open any app that supports sharing (Photos, Safari, Files, etc.).
  2. Select the content you want to share.
  3. Tap the Share button.
  4. Select “Verum Messenger” from the list of apps.
  5. Choose the contact or group you want to send the content to.
  6. Confirm the action.

The content will be sent to the selected chat automatically.

Supported content types

You can share the following types of content to Verum Messenger:

  • Photos — JPEG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, and other image formats.
  • Videos — MOV, MP4, and other video formats.
  • Files — PDF, documents, and other file types.
  • Text and links — plain text and web links.

You can also share multiple items at the same time.

Search for a contact or group

When sharing content, you can use the search bar at the top of the screen to quickly find the contact or group you want to send the content to. The list is divided into two sections: Contacts and Groups.

You must be logged into Verum Messenger to use the Share Extension. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to open the app first.
